Deloitte’s report investigates the responses of almost 5500 LGBT+ people in various sectors of the workplace across 13 countries. It brings to light the respondents’ experience in the workplace, what is looked for in an employer, and the likely consequences if their lived experience doesn’t match up. The findings reveal that there is much still to be done in many organisations to demonstrate their commitment to LGBT+ inclusion to their employees and the report provides 6 recommendations as a starting point.
This report from the CIPD investigates employer and employee perspectives of flexible and hybrid working and finds an unmet demand for various types of flexible working. The findings are based on UK data and provide insights into the wider impact of flexible and hybrid working on productivity, performance, employee engagement, wellbeing, organisational culture and equality, diversity and inclusion. Implications and recommendations for organisations and policy makers are included.

This report from Business in the Community (BITC) has been specifically developed for CFO’s to encourage discussions on the value of investing in thriving employees. Research suggests current wellbeing programmes are often failing to make significant improvements to outcomes. With support and research from McKinsey Health Institute, instead of tackling the costs of poor mental health and wellbeing in the workforce, the report focuses on the considerable positives to be gained by organisations adopting a whole system method to address the root causes as well as symptoms of poor mental health and wellbeing.
A document produced by the Mental Health Foundation for this year’s mental health awareness week. Their aim behind choosing anxiety as this year’s theme was to allay some of the myths and confusion around the topic. This document helps provide a better understanding of what anxiety is, what causes it, what is feels like, sources of support, and broader actions for Governments and others to tackle anxiety. Page 17 includes a helpful illustration of a cycle of anxiety with work identified as a source, showing how it can escalate.
